Onlinekhabar reports that rescue teams have drilled five openings to send air into the Upper Trishuli 3A hydropower tunnel, where dozens of workers are believed trapped after the flood.

The Nepal Army told Nepalnews that it has airlifted excavators and bulldozers to Battar, Nuwakot, and that teams are nearing a breakthrough at the tunnel entrance. No workers have been reported rescued in these reports.

People near the site should stay clear and follow instructions from rescue officials. Families should use official police and government control rooms for confirmed information.
