The Kathmandu Post reports that Indian, Chinese and South Korean teams reached flood-hit areas Saturday to support specialised tunnel rescue. The 11-member Indian reconnaissance team flew to Chilime and Langtang with Nepali Army and Armed Police Force personnel.
China's Ministry of Emergency Management sent five tunnel experts to Nepal, and the Chinese Embassy said another four would be sent soon, The Kathmandu Post reports.
South Korean experts were also allowed to inspect affected areas. This is specialised assistance for tunnel rescue, forensic and DNA work, not a broad foreign deployment. People searching for relatives should use official control rooms and police channels.
