Tourism Board says 187 tourists rescued or accounted for
The Nepal Tourism Board's latest update says 184 foreign tourists have been rescued from flood-affected areas and three others have come back into contact, Onlinekhabar reports.
That puts 187 tourists rescued or accounted for. The board says 420 tourists remain out of contact, a separate count from NDRRMA's wider list of 2,426 people in Nepal.
Out of contact does not mean dead. Families looking for someone should use the Foreign Ministry's emergency control room and local police rather than rely on unverified social media posts.
