NDRRMA's 10am Saturday situation update says 4,451 people have been rescued in the flood response, the Kathmandu Post reports. The authority's earlier named nationality list totals 113, so it is not a full breakdown of the current total.
The same NDRRMA update says 15,224 security personnel are deployed for search, rescue and relief. That is a different count from figures published by the Prime Minister's Office and Home Administration on Friday, which used different reporting times and may cover different deployments.
Rescue work is continuing in the affected districts. Do not travel into the flood zone unless officials ask you to do so.
