The Independent Power Producers’ Association, Nepal says 898 people remain unaccounted for at 11 hydropower projects in Rasuwa and Nuwakot, Onlinekhabar reports.
The association says 361 people have been evacuated, including 254 from Upper Trishuli-1, and around 300 are believed trapped inside that project's tunnel.
This is a project-site count with a different scope from Nepal Police's wider missing list. Chinese experts have arrived to help with tunnel rescue, Onlinekhabar reports.
