Red Cross says at least 93,000 people affected by the flood

David Fisher, head of delegation for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in Nepal, said Friday that at least 93,000 people have been affected by the flood and are in great need, the Jerusalem Post reports.

It is the broadest estimate yet of how many people the flood has touched, wider than the confirmed death, missing and rescued counts on this page, and it has not been confirmed by the Nepali government.
