Nepal's Cabinet made three flood relief decisions at its Thursday meeting, government spokesperson and Education Minister Sasmita Pokharel said on Friday, Onlinekhabar reports.
The Prime Minister and every member of the Council of Ministers will give one month's salary to the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund.
The Cabinet approved Agriculture Inputs Company Limited to buy 25,000 tonnes of DAP fertiliser from India, government to government, to help farmers who lost supplies in the flood.
The Cabinet has told the Finance Ministry to prepare a relief and rehabilitation package for people and businesses affected by the flood in Rasuwa. The details of that package have not been published yet.
