Nepal has asked India and China for help building 42 Bailey bridges in Rasuwa, Nuwakot and Dhading, after most bridges there were destroyed by the flood and cut off two way road traffic, Onlinekhabar reports. NDRRMA assessed that number as urgently needed.
India's foreign ministry spokesperson said India would provide Nepal with assistance, including Bailey bridges, whenever required. No timeline for delivery has been given yet.
